Quick and Nutritious Snacks

1.  Trail Mix - mix together crackers, cereal, raisins, 
    dried fruits (such as prunes and apricots). Place in 
    cones for an edible cup.
2.  Yogurt Crunch - Top plain yogurt with fresh fruit and 
    granola.
3.  Veggie Dips - Dip vegetables in peanut butter, cream 
    cheese, and/or mild salsa.
4.  Fruit Shake - Blend fresh fruit, milk and a scoop
    of icecream. 
5.  Pockets - Stuff mini pita's with cheddar and chopped
    broccoli and melt in microwave or oven.
6.  Mini Pizza - top English muffins with sauce and choice
    of toppings.  Place under broiler until cheese melts.
7.  Ham Wraps - Wrap a stick of cheddar into a slice of ham.
8.  Round Sandwiches - spread tuna on a slice of bread and
    roll.  Cut the bread to make pinwheels.
9.  Fruitsicles - Blend fresh fruit and juice together.  
    Pour into popsicle holders and freeze.
10. Mini Smiles - Spread toasted mini waffles with 
    peanut butter.  Add fruit for eyes, nose and mouth.
11. Cheerio Necklace - string multi grain Cheerio's on
    a piece of twine for a "snack to go".
12. Structures - Build a 3D snack using pretzels, crackers, 
    raisins, cereal, marshmallows, etc. using cream cheese 
    or peanut butter to hold it together.
13. Banana Boats - Slice a banana lenghtwise, spread 
    with peanut butter and top with raisins or granola.
14. Mini Snowmen - make Rice Krispie Squares except 
    roll into different sized balls instead of putting in a pan.
    Roll in coconut and attach 3 balls for a snowman.  Add 
    raisins for eyes and buttons and a mini carrot for the nose.
15. Zoo Crackers - Spread a graham cracker with cream 
    cheese or peanut butter.  Add an animal cracker standing 
    up on top of the cracker.
