Print the story on regular paper and the happy/sad faces onto card paper or regular paper then glue onto bristle board after the children colour them. Tape the heads to a tongue depressor or popsicle stick to create a stick puppet. When you read the story to the children, have them hold up the appropriate puppet when Matthew is feeling 'happy' or 'sad'.
