Button Snowmen

Use the stencil below to cut out 5 snowmen, hats, and scarves. Children can match the numbered hats to the snowmen. You can use fabric paint to decorate the facial features and details. I used the carrot nose so the snowmen could also be used with The Chubby Little Snowman poem (bunny included). You can also paint on a nose and then just cut one carrot nose for that poem.

These snowmen can also be used for the fingerplays included on this page. The actual felt pieces are larger than the picture above. I resized them so they would load faster and would fit nicely on my page! Enjoy!

5 Little Snowmen

Five little snowmen made of snow,
Five little snowmen in a row.
Out came the sun and shone all day.
And one little snowman melted away.

Five little snowmen knocking at the door,
One melts away and then there were four.
Four little snowmen climbing a tree,
One melts away and then there were three.
Three little snowmen looking for something to do,
One melts away and then there were two.
Two little snowmen are now having fun,

One little snowman all by himself,
He melts away and now there are none.

A Chubby Little Snowman

A chubby little snowman had a carrot nose.
Along came a bunny, and what do you suppose?
That hungry little bunny, looking for his lunch.
Grabbed that snowman’s carrot nose, nibble, nibble, CRUNCH!
