5 Little Christmas Trees

Use the stencil below to cut out 5 trees and an axe for the fingerplay. The trees are larger than the picture above which was resized to fit on my page. Enjoy :-)

Stood all alone.
Their hearts were sad
For they hadn't found a home.
Chop! went the ax.
Down came the tree.
And off it went with a happy family.

Stood all alone.
Their hearts were sad
For they hadn't found a home.

Stood all alone.
Their hearts were sad
For they hadn't found a home.
Chop! went the ax.

It's heart was sad
For it hadn't found a home.
Chop! went the ax.
Down came the tree.
And off it went with a happy family.
*Have a child come and 'chop' down one of the trees each time and 'take it home'.
