Cats Are Cool
Patches is a rescue cat. She's a tortoise shell cat. She has a black face and a tan stripe down the middle of her nose. I got her when she was 3 months old. She's 6. Her birthday is May 1st.
The best things about having a cat for a pet are they sleep with you at night, they like to cuddle up on your lap, they like to play with you, and they're there for you when you need a friend.
You also have to take good care of your pets. Cats need water, food, and you need to change their litter. Every year you have to take your cat to the vet. When I take Patches to the vet, she sits in the carrier and we have to dump her out because she won't come out on her own. When we try to dump her out, she holds herself in. Even though she doesn't like going to the vet, we have to take her so she doesn't get sick.
She likes to play with toy mice, me, and my bunny Snowball. She likes to play with pompoms and string. Her favourite place to be rubbed is on her neck right under her cheek.
A cat is a lot of hard work, but it is so worth it!
